First of all, we asked Omiyu for some comments about how she searches for books for this special feature, so we'd like to start by introducing those.

First " Where to find books
In fact, there are many bookstores around Gakugeidaigaku Station.
Among them, "Used Book Store Ruroudo" is a bookstore that makes you want to just drop in.
It opened near Gakugeidaigaku Station in 2000 and has been popular with locals. Used Book Store Ruroudo was once closed due to the deterioration of the building, but after about two years it reopened under the Gakudai overpass in 2024.
"Most of the books on display have been sold to us. We are truly grateful to our customers," said the owner.
The store has comics, magazines, The shelves are packed with books of various genres, including poetry collections, classical literature, picture books, and more, but they are arranged in such a way that you can tell that the bookshelf is a collection of poetry. This is the kind of bookstore that piques your curiosity, making you wonder what the theme of the book next to it is.

Cafe de Anguiyu is located on the second floor of the greengrocer just outside the east exit of Gakugeidaigaku Station.
It has been a popular restaurant for a long time in the building at the west exit of Gakugei University Station. Mr. Anguiyu.
It was once relocated to Komazawa University, but has now returned to Gakugeidaigaku Station. It is said that customers who buy books at Ruroudo often come to Anguiyu to read their books while having a cup of coffee. On the day I visited, there were two people reading books while drinking coffee.
