Ivana Šáteková
In addition to painting, she often draws. Her inspiration comes from comics and pictures she finds in books and on the internet. She also communicates through other media. It is typical of her humor, irony and uncompromising in the field of dealing with current social issues. Folklore and folk traditions are one of her favorite topics, which she uses to present paradoxes and absurdities that are deeply rooted in Slovak society, relating them to the contemporary world. She is a member of the painting trio Dzive.
