Art comes in all shapes, sizes and colors. Art connects people who have never met before or don't speak the same language. When you look at a great work of art, you interact with it through your senses, your body and your mind. The history of art is so amazing that a single painting could fill a book.
My taste in art is quite varied, but no particular artist or work had caught my eye until a few months ago, when I came across an intriguing piece on social media. I learned that the artist was named Alexei Shakhov and was born in Kyrgyzstan before moving to the Czech Republic around 20 years ago.
